So, und jetzt bitte die Diskussion wie unnütz das ist – Mädchen-Hilfsmittel! – Echte Männer erfassen den Luftdruck olfaktorisch aus 100 Meter Entfernung!

Geil. Das werd ich mir auch basteln. Genau sowas suche ich seit gut zwei Jahren und hatte die Hoffnung dass irgendein ein China-Shop sowas im Angebot hätte. Weil doppelte Sensoren drinnen und draussen ja irgendwie quatsch sind, aber das eingebaute Lämpchen alleine auch ziemlich nutzlos ist.

Echte Männer spüren den Luftdruck mit ihrem Popometer auf ein zenhntel Bar genau. Ausser man muss pupsen, das verfälscht die Ergebnisse - die olfaktorischen als auch das Popometer.

Wie groß ist der Bildschirm? Passt es dahin wo der Aschenbecher ist oder sonst halt in die Dachkonsole. Sinnvoller wie die Leuchte.

Klein. Es ist ein 1,8 Zoll Display. B 36 x H 56mm
Als Festinstallation fände ich's gut irgendwo da:

Schön wäre auch das ganz "ordentlich" wo einzusetzen. Ich dachte auch daran den Bildschirm an eine von den Leerblenden für Schalter zu schrauben/kleben und die ganze Technik hinter der Konsole zu verstecken. Dazu noch einen kleinen on/off Switch irgendwo verbauen. Bei Nachtfahrten blendet der Bildschirm bestimmt.

Mit dem code gehen vier verschiedene Display Typen zwischen 0,96" und 2,8" Bildschirmdiagonale.

Habe mich da schon mal mit dem Raspberry beschäftig.
Ein Thema war: "Wie fahre ich so ein Teil sauber runter?"
Gibt div. Lösungen mit Pufferakku/Powerbank bzw. Board "Raspberry Pi Power Control".
Damit fährt de Pi nach Ausschalten der Zündung sauber runter. Einfach hart auschalten (Stecker ziehen) macht doch bald erhebliche Probleme, spätestens wenn die SD-Karte hin ist.

Naja, ich kann gerne beim BTT was erzählen, es ist nur alles auf einem ziemlich amateurhaftes Niveau unterwegs
Übrigens bin ich mir recht sicher dass man meinen Bordcomputer auch um die Reifendruckanzeige anpassen könnte, was natürlich auch cool wäre (und ich denke gar nicht mal soooo viel Arbeit)

Das Problem mit dem Runterfahren hatte ich bei meinem Bordcomputer aber auch, dass wenn in dem Moment wo kein Strom mehr kommt die letzte Zeile der Datei nicht vollständig ist und es das spätere Hochladen komplett geblockt hat. Anstatt mich mit dem runterfahren zu beschäftigen habe ich aber eher drauf geschaut dass die Daten vor dem hochladen bereinigt werden - war einfacher

Zeit/Datum ist auch manchmal relevant.
Schließlich hat der PI oftmals keine dauerhafte Internetverbindung.
Auch da gibts wohl Lösungen ...die ich aber noch nicht probiert habe.

Hallo zusammen,

ich denke es wird vor dem BTT einen Thread zu den Workshops geben wo wir die Inhalte besprechen können.
Ich habe schon mehrfach Schulungen zum dem Thema gemacht und Vorgehen ist immer das Thema von den Grundlagen her anzugehen, d.h.:
- Schnittstellen auslesen und beschreiben
- Sensoren auslesen
- Displays beschreiben
- Aktuatoren ansteuern

und dann kann man z.B. auch die Messwerte einer Breitbandlambdasonde auf einem OLED darstellen.

Das ist echt lieb von euch, einige haben angefragt sowas zu kaufen, aber ehrlich Leute, der Aufwand ist viel zu groß, um das günstig anbieten zu können.

Ich habe mir einen alten kaputten iPod aus der Kruschtlschachtel gefischt und die Komponenten da rein "gebaut".
Sieht lustig aus, funktioniert aber 1A.

Ich hatte das selbe aber mit anderem Namen und da fiel im Dunkeln die Dichtung in der Kappe raus und der Reifen verlor Luft.
Ich habe mich beim Verkäufer beklagt und die haben diskussionslos den Betrag wieder zurückerstattet, hatten aber keine mehr an Lager.
Ich hab mir nun das verlinkte gekauft und das funktioniert seit einigen Monaten, auch das mit dem Aufladen per Solar funktioniert in grauen Zürich.

Besser wäre das originale System von Toyoa aktiviert zu können was aber offenbar nicht geht.
Alternative zur aufgeschraubten Kappe wäre ein System mit innerhalb der Felge verbauten Sensoren,
das wäre wohl sicherer und die Sensorkappe mit Diebstahlsicherung muss nicht immer beim Füllen abgeschraubt werden.

Für den Moment funktionierte so und ich bin eigentlich zufrieden mit dem System drum lass ich es so.

Nur zur Deko? … Vielleicht magst du deine Fahrzeugwahl nochmal überdenken.
Ein fünftes Rad kann auch ein Straßen PKW gebrauchen, nen Platten kann man sich überall zuziehen.
Deswegen haben ja auch alle Autos und LKWs Reserveräder, die "spazieren gefahren" werden.

Zum Thema Umprogrammieren:
Die Toyota TPMS ECU kannst du mit zwei Sätzen Räder programmieren, wurde schon in einem anderen Fred ausführlich behandelt. So ist beim Wechsel der Felgen (Sommersatz / Wintersatz) keine Änderung nötig.
Das Arduino TPMS kannst du auch mit einem zweiten Satz programmieren (theoretisch sogar noch mehr), da ist also danach auch keine Änderung mehr nötig.
