Zuverlässigkeit: FJ mit vielen Km

hier mal ein paar Aussagen von US-Besitzern.
berücksichtigen muss man noch dazu, dass die meisten der Jungs ihre Autos sicher nicht schonen.

I just hit 73k. I've had it off road in the Moab, Ouray, Aspen areas as well as Badlands ORP. No rattles, no breakdowns no issues at all except for two cracked windshields. I've owned 89, 94 and 03 4Runners as well as a 89 Dodge Raider with SAS. Nothing compares to the FJ in overall abilities. This baby can go from interstate speeds to rock crawling and not miss a beat. I friggin' love this truck!

I'm at 75,500 in 23 months, no issues except the most pathetic, sad looking windshield you have ever seen. Have done lots of off-roading, no rattles.

Just hit 80K on mine and no issues with rattles unless you count the bass speaker shakes.

The problems the Trail Team trucks had were/are the same 'popular' ones folks on here have: pulleys that didn't like running through mud puddles
broken windshields (sometimes by hitting birds in Texas!)
But all in all, for the serious 'wheeling we did, the FJ´s have held up beautifully.

I have 91K miles, had my window replaced three times, will be buying my 3rd set of tires soon, had a pulley go out, replaced my brakes, I do have cracks on my fender wells but the dealer said it was because of my mods, and I have a serious squeak on the front end. Pretty good for how I drive and what I put it through.

Just hit 50,000.
My driver's side suicide door rattles when you go on a bumpy dirt road other than that nothing. I have not had one mechanical problem yet. No windshield replacement. I can go on and on about how my FJ has held up.

habe in 19 Monaten mit artgerechter Haltung und ca. 78 000Km und nichts ausser service.

Das Diff.-öl wechsle ich alle 4 Monate (verschleiß sichtbar) aber kein wasser im Diff. oder sonstiges..

einfach perfekt gebaut.

was auch genial ist wenn man bis zu den scheinwerfern im Wasser fährt, bei der ansaugung im Radkasten ist es Trocken da kommt kein wasser hin. (kommt glaube ich auf die geschwindigkeit an und das man nicht stehen bleibt)



hatte bis jetzt noch kein besseres Wagerl!

bin auch deiner Meinung.
Der FJ ist sehr vielseitig, kann kraxeln, kann schwimmen, er kann eine recht flotte Rennsemmel sein, und und....

Hatte kürzlich das erste Mal einen grossen Anhänger dran. Ich war überrascht wie souverän er diesen über die Bayerwald-Hügel zog.

auch mit dem schlafen im Auto geht ganz gut.
